Your Excellency Kofy Annon
Once again, we Iranian are informing you that Iran has committed another act against human rights although we haven't seen any hard action from the United Nations. This time, a young man of 23, Sied Mostafa, who ate something on Ramadan, was executed by the Revolutionary Guard. Even according to Islamic law, breaking the fast on Ramadan does not merit punishment by death. But Islam is very clear on punishment by life sentence. Here was an act of not fasting versus an act of murder and the Government of Iran did nothing to punish the murderer. Instead they announced that from now on their policy against non-obedience will be much more severe. Even so, any crime deserving a death sentence deserves a public trial to allow the alleged criminal a chance for his own defense and to keep population informed.
Your Excellency the mission that you accepted as head of the United Nation is not an easy one. It puts you in charge of every crime against defenseless people of the world suffering under the rule of tyrannical governments, the responsibility is more than we can imagine, but if not you, who else can serve to protect and shelter these people? Where else is their refuge?
Your Excellency, it took the blood and misery of centuries to finally bring the nations of the world together to form the United Nations as a mean of prevention and punishment for the tyranny and inhumane acts committed by rogue governments. Now it is your responsibility to fulfill the hopes and dreams that inspired society to establish such an organization. And you know better than anybody else that one day in the future the history of human straggle against dictatorship will call your name as the person responsible during our time. What they call you is up to you if nations of the world remain under dictatorship and tyranny, then you failed.
